Watco Supply Chain Services acquires Aspen Transportation

SPRINGDALE, ARKANSAS – October 23, 2015 – Watco Supply Chain Services, L.L.C., a Watco Companies subsidiary, announces the acquisition of Aspen Transportation, LLC. The Jonesboro, Arkansas, company provides domestic transportation management services, including multi-mode freight brokerage, dimensional, and project cargo coordination.

Eric Wolfe, president of Watco Supply Chain Services, said “Aspen Transportation is a great company and their success has been achieved because of the experienced and professional team members who have a track record of providing unparalleled service to their valued, long-standing customers.”

Aspen Transportation was founded in 2002 by John Sawyer and Mickey Seeman. The business will continue operations under the name of Aspen Transportation, as a Watco Supply Chain Services subsidiary.
